Program Description
This program of instruction prepares individuals for entry level jobs as Pediatric dental assistants. It encompasses clinical pediatric dental assistant training, OSHA and HIPAA requirements, behavior guidance techniques, as well as all the areas included in the program outline below. By the end of the program, students will receive a certificate of completion in Pediatric Dental Assisting along with a CPR certification and the hands-on training and practical knowledge to pursue a career as a Pediatric Dental Assistant and more!
Forty (40) Externship hours are required for the successful completion of this program.
Our 40-hour externship offers our students real world experience to become highly skilled, confident and qualified Pediatric Dental Assistants.

Requirements for Graduation
Students must complete the following to receive Certificate of Completion:
- 10 weeks of class (Saturdays 8:00AM-5:00PM) Students ARE ENCOURAGED to attend all 10 classes. Students are allowed to make up only one missed class (8 hours.)
- Plus 40 hours of externship
- A passing grade of 75 must be achieved in all classes in order to receive Certificate of Completion

- The Dale Foundation: Management for the Pediatric Patient Training
